Things to do while visiting

 

Restaurants

El Nido: Casual dining, Steaks and Fowl, located in town, 4 blocks north of the Rosarito Hotel.

Punta Moro: Fine dining, beautiful sunsets, located 35 minutes south, just before Encinada.

Porto Nuevo: Located 12 minutes south. Many restaurants. (Known for lobster)

Taco Surf: Great taco stand, 12 minutes north, next to Los Rocas.

Carnitas "La Flor de Michoacan": Great Carnitas Located at Av. Juarez #291 Rosarito.

Los Rocas: Good spot for Sunday Brunch.

Entertainment

ATC Rentals: Rosarito Hotel

Horse back riding on the beach: Rosarito Beach Hotel.

Real Del Mar Golf Course: 15 minutes north, just of the toll road. I have heard they do a nice brunch.

Fireworks on the beach: Rosarito Beach Hotel, this is where we take our kids to do fireworks.

Fishing Village: This is quite an adventure, if you arrive about noon all the local fisherman are just coming in to shore with all their fish. It is sold by the kilo and is always very good. Head north on the old road about 12 minutes, look for the cement arches just south of the Fox Studio.

Live Music

Cantlli's: Live music starts at 9 P.M. Located between Raul's Resturant and Puerto Nuevo. Don't blink or you'll miss this!

The Palms: In Cantamar. Great Lobster bisque.

Night Life

Shopping

Rosarito: Downtown 15 minutes north.

Ensenada: Downtown 45 minutes south.

Wrought Iron: Take old road north 10 minutes on the left.

Cement statues and fountains: Across the street, from the Las Gaviotas entrance.

Puerto Nuevo: Lots of vendors.

Cantamar: On Sunday's this is where the locals shop, its very similar to swap meet.

Las Rocas Spa: 12 minutes north on the old road.

Lupita's Beauty Shop: Located in Rosarito in front of Rosarito beach hotel
