Rules & Information

Las Gaviotas has a reputation
for being one of the nicest resort communities in Baja. For those that
have vacationed here before you know how beautiful it is. In order to
maintain these high standards we do have some rules and regulations that
we all must follow. Please keep in mind that they are enforced, and fines
are given when the rules are broken. The fines may range from $25.00 to
$100.00. The homeowner will be billed for any fines that you may receive,
if you get a fine it will be deducted from your security deposit. Please
review the following rules, print and sign this document and send it with
your 50% deposit. The remaining 50% is due at least 21 days prior to your
first night.

Please send this balance in the form of a cashiers
check only.

1. Cars must display some form of entry permit on the front windshield
of the car at all times.

2. No motorhomes, camper, trailers, or buses are allowed in the complex.

3. No fireworks.

4. No glass containers or other breakable items may be carried around
the complex or in the recreational areas.

5. No food in the pool area.

6. No pets.

7. No children are allowed in the Jacuzzi (spa) and no diapered children
are allowed in the pool.

8. No smoking in the house.

9. Maximum of 8 people in a four bedroom home.

10. Maximum of 2 cars per house.

11. Music and TV sets must be kept at a low volume from 10:00 PM to
8:00 AM and at volumes not to disturb neighbors at other times.

12. Please be sure to take all patio cushions into the house every night.


13. Never pay the guards directly
for anything. All fines must be handled through the office by the home
owners. Let us know if you received any fines while staying in Las Gaviotas.


Please remember that Las
Gaviotas is home too many people and disturbing them is prohibited.
As visitors you are protected by the same rules and can request enforcement
from the security guards at the gate.


Your security deposit is
refunded once we receive our monthly association statement. We need
to check to see if any fines were given before we release the security
funds back. The statement cut off date is the 20th of each month. We
receive the statement by the 10th of the following month in which
security checks are issued if no fines are given.


Cancellation policy



If we can re-book your reservation we are happy to refund all money.
If the cancellation is in writing and post marked at least 30 days prior
to the check in date we will give you a credit to be used within twelve
months of the cancellation. Unfortunately we are not a hotel and we
can not compete with hotel cancellation policies. Sorry, no exceptions
for credits or refunds.




By signing this you acknowledge all the above
rules and regulations, and agree to be financially responsible for any
fines or damages.
